Once you place a purchase order, the clock starts. Every buyer wants to know: “When will my plastic toys actually arrive?” At Shantou WeLoveToys Co., Ltd. (WELOVETOY), we’ve managed this timeline for US and EU clients for five years. Here’s what a realistic schedule looks like—and where delays usually hide.
Week 1–2: Sample approval and mold preparation.
If you’re using an existing mold, we confirm it’s ready and schedule machine time. If it’s a new design, we finalize the 3D file, cut the mold, and run a test sample. You approve color, function, and feel before we move forward. No approval, no production.
Week 3–4: Material ordering and injection molding.
We order plastic resin and color masterbatch based on your approved sample. Injection molding runs in batches. Our team checks part fit, surface finish, and drop safety during the run—not just at the end.
Week 5: Assembly, testing, and packaging.
Small parts are assembled, then tested for pull strength, sharp edges, and age-grade compliance. Packaging is printed and assembled with correct barcodes, warnings, and CE/UKCA marks. We send photos of finished cartons before they leave the factory.
Week 6–7: Shipping and documentation.
We coordinate with freight forwarders, prepare shipping marks, and send you tracking details. Sea freight to the US or EU typically takes 25–40 days depending on port and season. Air freight is faster but costs more. We help you choose what fits your deadline.
Where delays usually happen.
Chinese New Year, peak season (August–October), and port congestion are the big three. If your target arrival date is tight, tell us early. We work backward from that date and build in buffer time. Honest timelines prevent rushed decisions.
